FAQ

Do you only build on the AR-15 platform, or do you build AR-10's as well?

I build both barrels and complete uppers on the DPMS and ArmaLite AR-10 platform.

How do I place an order?

I only take orders over the phone. It's much easier for me to walk a customer through the process and find out exactly what what they want and need.

 

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, I require a $300.00 deposit on an upper, and $200.00 for a barrel.

 

What happens if I need to cancel my order?

You can cancel your order at any time and your deposit, less a 10% restocking fee, will be refunded.

 

What form of payment do you accept?

I accept Visa/MasterCard over the phone, checks, and money orders.

 

I would like to build my own WSSM upper. Can I purchase the parts from Dtech?

No, unfortunately, my license agreement only allows me to sell complete upper receivers in the WSSM line.

 

If I have my own bolt or receiver, can I send it to Dtech and have it used in my build?

Yes, I will use any quality component that my customer would like to provide.

 

If I have an AR-15 upper receiver, can I send it in and have it used for a WSSM build?

No, the bolt, carrier and upper receiver are all specially produced for the WSSM line. Standard AR parts will not work.

 

Can I have you build an upper and have you use a barrel other than a Shilen?

No, I know there are lots of great barrel makers, and some folks have their favorite, but I have agreed to exclusively use Shilen barrels in my shop. For this, I receive great pricing and terrific service from Shilen. I stock a HUGE inventory of Shilen blanks in an effort to keep my shop running smoothly.
