After seeing state after state legalize suppressors, we have found ourselves threading an increasing percentage of barrels going out of our shop. Because some of our barrel-profiles are not exactly main-stream, we have decided to offer our own line of barrel-thread protectors. 


You will notice we don't offer a .920" threaded to 1/2"-28, or a .920" down to a 5/8"-24. Those are reductions in muzzle-diameter that we discourage.  Any drastic reduction in muzzle-diameter can cause loss of accuracy, and that is the last thing we want to do!  You will however notice a very rare combination: .860" to 5/8"-24.  The 860" muzzle is becoming increasingly popular in the industry, and has always been popular in our line-up. Unfortunately, because of it's obscurity, thread-caps have been, up to now, impossible to find.
